Ok Im done putting up with universals crap. First lying about earlier now not even letting people in line. I love how they treat their passholders an their rude employees basically telling u don't stand arouund when they will prolly just reopen after u leave. I hope the coaster vallies again with ppl on it an they learn their lesson and make a big media embarassmrnt.

Sorry just had vent lol.

Soft openings are NOT predictable. They could open for an hour, or 5, it just depends. If you go during softs, be prepared to be disappointed. If you get to ride, congrats, if not, well come back when the coaster is oficially open.

And to everyone else, lets not bitch and moan about things like the walkway or videos not working. If you want everything to be working, simply wait for te grand opening.

I was able to ride it today, and it was a fun ride. Not in my top ten, but still a good ride.

im still pondering how that one person said grand opening tomorrow. Wouldn't they have advertised or at least update the website about tomorrow if so? I'll still be there before the park opens and right when the gates open, im going straight to the entrance of Rockit to see if its running lol.

OMG OMG OMG you guys, it was AMAZING! Rotcav and I rode the 3rd train open to the public! Pics and vids coming shortly!
Anyone have questions about the ride? Let me know!
One piece of advice.... avoid wearing flip flops. My feet didn't touch the floor and had a bit of trouble trying to keep them on. Other than that, it was beyond incredible! The music was amazing and going up at 90 degrees was INSANE! You feel real secure when you are riding, so it's easy to put your hands up and let your upper body just go with the ride. It was definitely worth the wait and I'm not disappointed what so ever!
The only thing that bothered me before getting on the ride were the employees standing in front of the ride. They kept saying "this attraction will NOT be open today. All of you are standing here for nothing and you need to go enjoy the rest of the park." All of a sudden at 5:45 they changed and said "Are you guys ready to ride rockit???" We were like ummm, you said it definitely was not opening to the public today. It was confusing. Some people were angry because there were OTHER employees in the park saying NOT to listen to the Rockit employees because it WAS opening for soft at 6:00.
Oh well, I shouldn't complain. Everything was worth it! Everyone, get very excited cuz you're gonna LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANKS DR. BROWN! Just got on Rockit. Lift hill is a trip. Music was good but no volume. Only 2 cars going so they are taking their time. Will be back tomorrow to see if it opens again.

So has anyone confirmed a grand opening for tomorrow. If that happens does that mean FOTL will be open as well.

Are the seats comfortable, and what is the music selection screen like?

Also, thanks from all of us for the updates you provided about softs.

seats are very comfortable. You feel as if you are sitting back at an angle. The music selection was easy and the touch screen is actually located right on your lap bar. It's pretty small but very cool. You need to pick your music quick though. Just have something in mind before you get on the ride.

The sound quality is pretty good. I was expecting it to be a little louder, but it was actually at the perfect volume level. You cannot hear any other music. You can only hear yours! It's as if you are completely surrounded by the speakers.

The big question, What did it feel like? climbing the lift and the non-inverting loop.

It pretty much felt as if you were laying down while going up the lift. I'm sure it'd look really cool at night with the lights on the arches. The non-inverting loop felt really cool. You almost feel as if you really do go upside down.

How does the music selection work? Are there graphics or is it a very plain selection screen?

Is it sorted by selecting a category, followed by a song, or something else? When exactly is the deadline to select your song before it cuts you off and gives you no audio?

(Sorry for all the questions but I'm really excited to hear any and all details!)
