So does anyone have any more info on the soft openings? Will it be all day or just a few hours or just a few days during the next 4 weeks? I don't want to drive 1 hour and 45 minutes to find out no Softs that day.

not sure if you guys can answer these but ill give it a shot, thanks in advance for the help:

What time of the days do "softs" normally occur?

And is it official that it will be soft open for the next 4 weeks everyday? So if i make the 2 1/2 hr trip down to o-town i wil get to ride it? haha. Any word yet on whether or not it will be using the 'express pass'?

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-----

I'm a TM and even if I left NOW, I'd miss the preview time. sad.gif
I hope TM previews continue tomorrow. I did not get an e-mail, but saw a few posts on my facebook about it. When I get to ride, I'll post a review.

I actually like the tower a lot more without the banner. The rings twinkle and pulsate and do all this crazy *%^#. It's kind or cool. I hate all you tms. Or not. While I was typing a tm just told me they're softing at 2 tomorrow. Of course I'll be in Tallahassee by then. Spread the word. 2 o clock tomorrow.

I was gonna go to Disney tomorrow but this might change my mind. I'll be at USF all day if I have to lol.

No softs for regular Joes yet. If you live far away your best bet is to wait until a regular joe actually said they rode it.

It looks like all the wooden panels have been unscrewed and there are metal barricades in front of the wall now, so it may be coming down soon. They also had extra rockit members standing infront of the wall looking all official and such to basically tell the tourists the people riding are employees.
The coming spring 2009 poster is still there though biggrin.gif

That's the thing about softs. If it's happening that day, it's happening. If it's for 4hrs, 6, all day, or not at all, there's no way to know unless you're there. And even then, things can change in the blink of an eye and that's that.

Softs can occur at any time, on any day, for any length of time. They do NOT honor express during softs. Because the ride is not officially open, you could make the 2.5hr trip to Universal for nothing. Or you might get to ride. Nothing is guaranteed until the grand opening.

Apparently there is a rumor that the soft opening was the TM preview because universal just wants to get it open what do you think?

I've heard that team previews only last a couple of days and softs start after that

They did for TSR, but that may not be the case with Rockit.

How the hell did they get the wooden fence down in the time it took me to walk from rrr to halfway to the parking lot. I don't know about that. Again a tm told me 2pm tomorrow. Take it for what it's worth.

Oh well, at least it's finally opening up! laugh.gif
